Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Gravity Gravity requires setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your Gravity Global account. This will required you to approve a prompt on your phone or enter a code to login to your account. This is done to prevent someone who has access to your password from getting into your Gravity Global account. Please follow the steps below to get ready for this and familiarize yourself with the process.
1. To setup MFA, you will first need to installed Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone via your App Store if you don't have it installed already.
- iOS: Microsoft Authenticator on the App Store (apple.com)
- Android: Microsoft Authenticator - Apps on Google Play
Once Installed you don't need to sign into the Authenticator, Please wait for a Login Prompt to setup to be visible as shown in step 2.1.
2. Once the MFA setting is turned on, you'll be prompted to follow the follow steps the next time you login. Once you complete the steps you'll be signed into your account.
- You will be prompted that Gravity Global needs more information. Click Next

- Follow prompts on the screen to setup the Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone.

- Open Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and if prompted, allow notifications. Then add an account and select "Work or School"

- Select Scan QR Code from the options and allow access to your camera if requested. Then scan the QR code displayed on your screen and then select Next.

If You don't get a prompt on your phone to allow the sign in or you get time out error. Please remove the existing Gravity Global account from inside the authenticator app on the Phone and then re-add by selecting Work or School Account and then Scanning QR code and rescan the QR code on screen.
- You will then be prompted on your phone to approve or deny a request. Approve the request. In the future when you sign-in, you will be prompted with this Approve/Deny request. If you are prompted when not trying to sign into your account, you should deny or ignore.
- You will also need to register your phone number. Your number is used to confirm who you are if you need to reset your password. You can also use this as a backup if you can’t use the authenticator app. Follow the prompts on screen to enter in your phone number and then then provide the code that is texted to you.
- Your MFA is now setup.
